my name was Kid Freeze
our dance crew moves
brought fans to their knees
left that behind to help people see
but it turned out the one
who needed vision was me
discovered I was an artist
who needed to make
my obsession with beauty
impossible to shake
so I got my portfolio
then school really began
ended up at SS&K
crawled, walked then ran
helped elect a President
the best one we’ve had
and repositioned an airline
cause airlines are just sad
all that seems like a lifetime ago
the business has totally changed
having more fun than ever before
though my schedule is totally deranged
I like work all day and all night
making smart things beautiful
and beautiful things smart
partnering with all kinds of clients
is the key to my art
writing pop songs to sell paper towels
and building platforms to help kids find their future
at the office, beach or food truck
you’ll find me in front of my computer
but my real love is dogs.
